Respecting and supporting students
In my opinion the most important element of teaching mathematics is actually to carry the charm and the clarity of the theme while valuing the study tempo of an particular child. I rely on trusting in each child, the fact that everyone owns the capability to do and comprehend the mathematics presented to him or her. I consider that the purpose of lesson is to equip every student with abilities and logic to progress and function in society. Because of this, I prefer to treat my students with respect and to be just as supportive as possible in the education process whilst stimulating them to reveal extra ways of thinking and new concepts and standards. I will definitely respect each single child's needs within reason of what exactly is possible and what instruments are available in the class. I will expect to spend as much or more time and effort invested in the school day as I await from my students. I will accept that I have as much to find out yearly like my students, and I will be flexible enough to receive critique and ready for new ways of teaching in an attempt to range all learning styles.
My role in tutoring
I see my role at this stage as a pro, far in a similar way their real school teachers are, yet also as a new supplier of encouragement and help. My function is that of a mentor just because I do not teach a full day of courses like my grand teacher does, so I may be a source the children may choose to get supplementary assistance as well as can count on when it comes to back up. My purpose is also that of a student, so I see myself as a prolongation of my students, I am definitely learning with them what it means to be an effective mathematics tutor.
No extra worksheets
Compared to lots of tutoring institutions in Stockton, at the time of the regular academic year, I actually represent the content that the learner gets in his/her lesson. In other words, I won't request that children do additional worksheets and assignments which are not component of the student's maths class, but rather, I prepare the student in sections of his/her maths program that can be complicated like clarity and depth of comprehension, application of principles, and test-taking strategies. All that I do is related closely to helping the student to better realise the material from the maths program she/he is having and to enhance the grade in that subject.
